ORIGINAL PINOY MUSIC

Original Philippine Music, now more commonly known as Original Pinoy Music, or OPM for short, refers to Philippine pop songs that were popular in the Philippines during the late 70s to the present.

OPM artists such as Rico Puno Jr., Ryan Cayabyab, and Celeste Legaspi in the 70’s, and Regine Velasquez, Sharon Cuneta, Martin Nievera, Pops Fernandez, among many others led the way in the 80’s and 90s. (pictures below)

Through the 90s to the 20s, OPM pop was regularly showcased in the live band scene. A lot of Pinoy singers and bands popularized songs that clearly reflected the sentimental character of OPM pop of their era.

Other than those very great singers mentioned there’s these famous and probably will be our all time favoriteS opm bands that gives us that “chills” and nostalgic feels whenever we hear it wether in a bus, jeepneys, restaurants, lrt stations if we hear there music or songs we will literally sing with it!

Healthy Weeknight Meals

Cooking can sometimes feel like a chore at the end of a busy day. It’s often tempting to throw a ready meal in the oven or call for take out. But preparing a simple and healthy family meal doesn’t have to be hard or time-consuming. Here are some quick wholesome dishes that you and your family will love. They can even be prepared in advance.

Breakfast at my House

During the week we’re often walking out the door with a coffee in one hand and slice of toast in the other, but on weekends breakfast is never rushed. It’s a late affair, sometimes spilling over to lunch, with lots of reading and chatter in between courses of fruits, poached eggs, honey and toast. One of our favorite things we like to serve when friends are visiting are buckwheat blueberry pancakes.
